Coherence (2013)

It’s probably best to go into this not knowing anything about it, but the premise (mysterious events at a dinner party when a comet passes close to Earth) could easily have come straight out The Twilight Zone—so if that sounds like it’s up your alley, you’ll probably like this. Also interesting in how it was made: All the actors got going into it was basic information about their character and motivations and some major plot points as needed, and the individual scenes were entirely improvised without them knowing much more about what was happening than their characters would. (And for Buffy the Vampire Slayer fans, Nicholas Brendan is in this as well.)
