My favorite games tend to be ones that have a straightforward concept and rules that you can learn in a few minutes, but then offer endless variation. In this one, you create a maze by randomly placing pathway tiles on a grid, and then each player gets cards with specific treasures they need to find a way to collect by moving through the maze. On each player’s turn, they push one tile into the side of one row, which slides the entire row and sends another tile out the other side, so that the maze and available paths change on every turn.
The first time we played this, I think we’d been going for about five minutes when I said out loud, “OK, this is a very good game.”
