Keen utility knife

Admittedly, $160 is a lot to drop on a little box cutter. But man, this thing from Studio Neat is really nice. First of all, it’s magnetized, which means it lives on the side of our fridge (which for me is, conveniently, right by where I usually open and break down boxes) instead of getting buried in a drawer or toolbox. The back is also held on magnetically and just snaps on and off, which makes it very easy to change the blades. If you feel like splurging on a well-designed, well-machined little tool that should last for the next several decades, get yourself one of these.
